Isle Of Man Tourist Trophy Races 2020 (abgesagt!)
Sa 30.05.20 - Fr 12.06.20
Update Friday, 20th March 2020
Five days ago, the 2020 TT Races were cancelled by the Isle of Man Government and since then the effect of Corona Virus on daily life here and worldwide has become more and more challenging.
Against this backdrop, the Isle of Man Government has promised financial support for local businesses and especially those in the travel and tourism sectors affected by the TT cancellation. We are told that tourism businesses involved in the TT and their customers are at the forefront of their considerations.
This week, Duke Travel has been in regular contact with our government representatives as well as the dozens of suppliers that contribute to the TT tourism supply chain to establish that travel, accommodation and services booked this year will still be available in 2021.
Concerning your travel booking, most tourism suppliers have already been fully or partially paid for their TT services and we have been establishing if they are prepared to move TT bookings forward to 2021 or refund all or part of the money received.
Details of the support that the Isle of Man Government can offer the industry are due to be announced next week and we shall assess the implications when we have the information.
We know that resolving this speedily is important for you, as it is for us, but until the picture is a little clearer we will have to ask you to bear with us for a while longer.
We are working on this as a matter of priority and will be in a position to give you more information by next Friday (27th) at the latest. Thank you once again for your patience at this difficult time.
